About me

I am Raphael, 23 years young and a bit of a daydreamer.

Hi! I am Raphael, a 23 year young cycling and travel enthusiast living in Switzerland when not on the road. Most of you reading this probably already know me anyway, but hey in case you don’t, here we go!

I am in love with nature, our planet and the idea of a free spirit. And this is why my mind chose to fall in love with the idea of cycling the wild, no matter where. Something about being in the wild with just your tent, maybe some good company and getting from A to B with nothing but your own muscles just strung a chord with me. It’s been many years now that I’ve dreamt about this endeavour and now for the next year I have the chance to live what my mind has sometimes been close to aching for. And even after this year will have come to an end, my dreaming won’t stop and it’ll just be another beginning of the next adventure in the making.

Besides daydreaming, philosophising and cycling I am also an avid lover of music. A few years back I’ve studied Audio Engineering in Amsterdam and long before and to this day I’m writing tons of different styles of music. My plan is to write down any musical inspirations during my travels on sheet music and once I am back home and have access to my studio capture the most incredible moments of my travels in the language I speak best. Obviously this whole endeavour is connected with some financial burden and me being still quite young, active in the audio scene and having had to spend a lot of my time in hospital makes this difficult to finance. So if you like what you read and see and feel like helping me out you can donate a spare penny or two.
